The LMBF preacher’s enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship this past Monday . Pastor Dennis and the good people at Heritage Baptist Church in Knox, IN hosted the meeting with style. The food was delicious, the fellowship was refreshing and the preaching was convicting and powerful. Dr. Leonard Jackson, who’s been preaching over 50 years, brought a great message on “Following the Old Paths”. God used Pastor Jerry Pittman to bring a similar thought in his preaching. Bro. Rick Moore topped it all of with a great sermon. There was a great turnout considering it was the first meeting. We are already planning and looking forward to our March meeting on 3/22 at Faith Baptist in LaPorte, IN. Check back soon as we post details about it.
Monday, February 8th, Heritage Baptist Church in Knox, IN will be hosting the very first Lake Michigan Baptist Fellowship meeting. There will be plenty of good fellowship, food, inspirational worship and of course some powerful preaching, The line-up of preachers includes Evangelist Rick Moore of Westville, IN, Pastor Jerry Pittman of Rochester, IN and Bro. Leonard Jackson of Knox. There will be a tasty breakfast before and a delicious hot meal afterward. Please be sure to be there as we get 2010 started right!

On Monday, January 11th, the founding preachers of the new Lake Michigan Baptist Fellowship met at Michiana Baptist Church for the purpose of establishing this fledgling fellowship. After reviewing previously discussed and decided guidelines, the men voted unanimously to adopt them officially. After a tedious process of reviewing multiple name ideas, the name “Lake Michigan Baptist Fellowship” was decided. This site has been created to keep fellowship members up to date and informed about what’s going on.
